Today I feel overwhelmed at the Journey ahead of me.

Help Yourself is an affirmation, emotional journal and self-love reminder PWA that was created for/by me and my own growth. It probably won't be added to the Projects page as a result. It is completely offline capable and all data stays on your device.

So why even make this post? If it helps one other person, writing this post is worth my time.

I am not a mental health expert and this app is not meant to diagnose or provide counseling. Please seek professional help if you are in a place of distress.

This app is meant to be a "journal". The inital affirmations were all generated by AI, so, they may sound cheesy (they do to me)-- but I've come to understand on my journey real affirmations will bubble up that I can add. Likewise the reminders are all generic because I'm really at the bottom of a hole and this is a tool to help me get out of it. I have become so self-loathing that even the basics of self-care/self-love escape me-- and that's ok because I am working on it and am not perfect.
